Tivoli Carvoeiro Hotel’s restaurant The One will be hosting a special dinner this May 10 starting at 8pm, featuring a menu seamlessly paired with wines from the renowned Algarve producer Barranco Longo.
The menu for this special dinner aims “to awaken the senses” of the guests, inviting food lovers to experience “the taste of excellence”.
The menu was created by chef Bruno Augusto and paired with one of Portugal’s top wine producers for a special dinner, “designed in detail to enhance the quality of local products and support farmers and producers in the region”.
Guests will be greeted with a pre-dinner welcome at 8pm accompanied by a selection of canapés and Barranco Longo Sparkling Rosé Reserva Bruto Natural Quê 04.
Dinner will start at 8.30pm, with beef tartare with black truffle cream as the starter, paired with Barranco Longo Open Red Clarete, a wine “made from select and gently vinified grapes, fresh, well-structured and full of personality”.
Next, two “sublime moments” have been prepared by chef Bruno Augusto for the dinner.
Grilled turbot will be served with spinach purée and meat jus, along with Barranco Longo Branco Reserva, “creating a good balance of flavours”.
Meat lovers will be delighted with the chef’s rib-eye steak with potato terrine and del Piquillo peppers, paired with Barranco Longo Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon, which is described as “intense and well-structured, with a pleasant freshness that gives it some elegance”.
For the final dish, an almond tart with honey and lemon ice cream, grapes and dark chocolate and Barranco Longo K.O – “a late harvest, sweet white wine, ideal for the knockout, also known as the KO”, and perfect for “closing the fight at the end of an excellent meal”.
