Akoreacro circus show ‘Arrêt D'Urgence

French company AKOREACRO brings exciting performances with the new circus show Arrêt DUrgence’.

For three straight nights, between July 18 (Thursday) and July 20 (Saturday), Portimão’s Zona Ribeirinha riverside, near the Clube Naval de Portimão, will be the stage for a lot of fun for the whole family.

AKOREACRO’s show will bring controlled chaos and an unexpected turn of events, where nothing seems to go according to plan.

Under stage direction by Idéal Buschhoff, movement and artists from AKOREACRO, lighting design and operation by Manu Jarousse, sound design and operation by Pierre Maheu, and production by AKOREACRO, the show will bring together “crazy experimenters, dreamers, and virtuosos” who will surpass themselves and the limits of what is possible while balancing acrobatics with music.

AKOREACRO is all about a new, popular, and acrobatic circus, with humour, love, and human relationships bringing chaos under control. Travelling all over Europe in search of new audiences, the company is always eager to take on new challenges.

Visitors can expect a lot of acrobatics, speed runs, fire, beatboxing and blazing techno music.

The event is part of the artistic programme developed by Lavrar o Mar – Cooperativa Cultural, envisioned for the commemorations of the city’s 100th anniversary, in partnership with the Portimão Municipality.

Starting at 10pm every day, the event is free to attend.
