Lagoa Wine Tourism Forum returns in November for wine enthusiasts, experts, producers and sommeliers

The second edition of the Lagoa Wine Tourism Forum returns, bringing together experts, wine producers, sommeliers and enthusiasts to the renowned Tivoli Carvoeiro Resort

Organised by the municipality of Lagoa, the event will take place on November 14 and 15, under the theme ‘Insights for Success’.

The Wine Forum promises to be a key fixture in the region’s wine tourism calendar, bringing together leading experts, wine producers, sommeliers, and enthusiasts for two days of immersive learning and hands-on experiences

Featuring technical sessions in the mornings and wine tourism experiences in the afternoons, this year’s forum’s diverse agenda will provide participants with valuable insights from industry specialists who will share their expertise on the growth and potential of wine tourism at both regional and national levels. Participants will also have the chance to visit local wineries, enjoying tastings and discovering innovative projects in the Algarve.

Registration to the event costs €70 per person and includes access to the morning sessions, support materials, coffee breaks, a full lunch, a participation diploma, visits to local wineries and round-trip transportation from the meeting point to the wineries.

“This event not only aims to promote wine tourism as a strategic area of development for the Algarve but also seeks to strengthen ties between local wine producers and the tourism industry, fostering new business opportunities,” stated the municipality.

Tickets can be purchased online or at CTT post offices, FNAC or Worten stores or Lagoa’s convent, auditorium and ‘Balcão Único’ one-stop shop.
