Concerts
Portimão | Piano Concert | February 1
Raúl da Costa and the Portuguese Symphonic Band will perform at TEMPO – Portimão Municipal Theatre as part of the 9th Algarve International Piano Festival. The concert starts at 7pm, with tickets ranging from €15 and €20 at Bol’s website.

Portimão | Dance performance | February 2
Portimão Arena will host “At the Movies”, a performance by the Portimão Dance Studio, starting at 5pm. Tickets range from €2 to €4.
Lagos | Voice quartet and piano | February 7
The Sons ao Crepúsculo series presents a captivating performance by voice quartet and piano at the Lagos Cultural Centre. The concert begins at 7pm, with tickets available for €10.

Lagoa | Concert | February 8
Carmen Souza, a Portuguese jazz singer of Cape Verdean descent, will present her latest album “Port’Inglês” at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium at 7pm. Carmen blends traditional Cape Verdean music with contemporary and classic jazz styles. Tickets are €10, available at Bilheteira Online, CTT ticket offices, Fnac and Worten stores, the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, and Balcão Único at Câmara Municipal de Lagoa.
Exhibitions
Lagos | Estiagem | Until April 12
“Estiagem” by João Mariano explores global issues such as climate change and global warming through a local perspective. The exhibition creates a powerful and emotional visual narrative, both as a work of art and a record of our time. Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm, at the Lagos Cultural Centre’s Sala de Exposições 1. Entry is free.

Lagos | Eu, Todas | Until April 12
“Eu, Todas” is an exhibition by contemporary Brazilian artist Paula Parisot, an eclectic showcase that will take visitors on a “journey” beyond the individual, “exploring the connection between personal identity and the collective experience”, delving into the complexities of the human condition and shared experiences. The exhibition is on display from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm, at the Centro Cultural de Lagos – Salas de Exposições 2 and 3. Entry is free.

Portimão | Portimão 2034 – The Future in 100 Projects | Until April 25
In celebration of Portimão’s centenary, the “Portimão 2034 – The Future in 100 Projects”” exhibition will take place at the renovated Al-Faghar Building, and will feature an inspiring vision for the next decade, with 100 projects for the city that will “reflect the commitment to urban regeneration, environmental sustainability and social innovation”.
Entry is free, between Monday and Saturday, from 1pm to 7pm.
Silves | Castle visits | Ongoing
Silves Castle is open for visitors to explore the centuries old history of its historical city.
Tickets cost €2.80 per person, and children, students, and seniors over 65 receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price.
Other
Armação de Pêra | Cars | February 2
Classic Cars Meet will return to Armação de Pêra this February, taking place by the old Mini-Golf, between 10am to 1pm.
Lagos | Crafts Workshop | February 9
Lagos Museum is hosting a workshop inspired by the museum’s collection, combining local history with craftsmanship and music. Visitors can learn different techniques and test their creativity and ability to make a piece, that they can keep or gift to someone.
Between 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. The workshop is free to attend, with advance booking required. Contact [email protected] or 282 771 775.
Portimão | 3D Fun Art Museum | Ongoing
Featuring over 40 different sets, 3D images and optical illusions for visitors to explore and experience with friends or family, this is a fun way to spend the day. The museum is open daily from 10am to 9pm. Tickets cost €13 for adults and €9 for children.
