João Clara Winery to host two top jazz concerts not to be missed

– November 14, 2024

Previous Jazz nas Adegas event

The 8th edition of the Jazz at the Wineries (Jazz nas Adegas) concert series is restarting, with two concerts scheduled for 9pm on November 22 (Friday) and November 23 (Saturday) at the João Clara Winery in Silves.

Organised by the Municipality of Silves, this event offers a remarkable and unique experience at each session, featuring performances by two talented jazz groups: the first led by saxophonist Luís Miguel Domingos on November 22, and the second by renowned trumpeter Hugo Alves, artistic director of the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, on November 23.

This 8th edition of Jazz at the Wineries invites the public to explore the Algarve and discover local wineries in a perfect musical setting.

Each session is designed for guests to enjoy jazz concerts with different styles and backgrounds, where concerts are “handpicked” to harmonise with the refinement and personality of each winery. According to organisers, “every detail is crafted to create a unique atmosphere, transforming each session into a memorable experience”.

In total, 22 sessions will be held between November 22, 2024, and May 31, 2025, across various wineries and estates in the municipality of Silves.
