Over a decade ago, Sara Sargaço’s life took an unexpected turn when Reiki, the “intelligent universal energy that organises and restores balance”, found her. Initially unfamiliar with this ancient practice, Sara quickly became captivated by its transformative power.
Her journey began under the guidance of Kathleen Milner, the American founder of Golden Tera Mai Reiki, an experience that left an indelible mark on her.
This initiation sparked a deep desire to help her loved ones and eventually led her to pursue advanced training, completing both Levels 2 and 3.
“Reiki has become my life’s calling,” Sara reflects. “It’s something that’s here to stay, and I realised that I want to live from Reiki and for Reiki.”
Every Reiki session she conducts is unique, evoking a range of emotions and results. However, the common thread across all sessions is a profound sense of tranquillity, relaxation, positivity, and renewed encouragement.
According to Sara, Reiki is a “natural, non-intrusive holistic healing” practice that offers myriad benefits. These include improved blood circulation, relief from both physical and psychological pain, and the elimination of negative energy and blockages, acting as a detoxifier for the body, organs, and cells.
Whether seeking to sleep better, reduce anxiety, overcome addictions, or simply relieve the stress of everyday life, Reiki offers a solution for everyone. Sara’s services are available from 5pm, and whilst she mostly works from her serene studio in Portimão, she is also willing to travel to clients who are unable to visit her.
