As another edition of Jazz nas Adegas draws to a close, there are still several opportunities to enjoy these unique concerts

With its series of concerts, Jazz nas Adegas (Jazz at the Wineries), organised by the Municipality of Silves, has been a great success over the years.
Jazz nas Adegas will close this year’s edition with two bands, Lu-Fuki Trio on May 10 (9pm ) and 11 (5pm) at the Paxá Wines, and The Invisible Tuba on May 24 (9pm ) and May 25 (5pm) at the Convento do Paraíso.
Lu-Fuki Trio
The Lu-Fuki Trio brings together three friends who are inspired by the “funkier” side of renowned jazz guitarist Grant Green, active until the end of the 1970s and notorious for fusing jazz and funk in albums such as “His Majesty King Funk” and “Green is Beautiful”.
The members of this trio come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, ranging from more traditional music with Oh Laurinda and Paulo Ribeiro to diverse formations in the jazz realm.

The Invisible Tuba
Led by Anglo-Sardinian trumpeter Mattia Corda and Simone Carugati on banjo, The Invisible Tuba are a traditional New Orleans-style jazz band whose repertoire consists mainly of Traditional Jazz Classics, Swing and Calypso. The band hopes to captivate people’s interest in the revitalisation of Swing and Dance.

Tickets
Tickets cost €20 and sell out fast (includes the show, wine and tapas, a voucher to visit Silves Castle and the Municipal Museum of Archaeology, and a bottle of wine).
Tickets can be purchased at BOL.pt (online), FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, and CTT Correios platforms. The event is for music and wine lovers aged 18 and over.
