Some of the hottest sunset dance parties are coming to Lagos Duna Beach Club

Part of the third edition of Duna Beach Sunsets, organised by DJ Toby One, the Duna Beach Club is preparing to host a series of exclusive events featuring top UK and Portuguese DJs for four incredible nights of Electronic, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Dancehall, and House music.
The Lagos-based British DJ aims to “bring quality to this side of the Algarve [Barlavento]” through these exclusive nights featuring various dance music genres.
Toby has been a DJ for The Prodigy, Groove Armada, and Public Enemy at Wembley Stadium, among other prominent artists who form the extensive network of contacts he leverages to organizse festivals in the Algarve.
Starting next Wednesday, July 3, the Duna Beach Sunsets will feature Mr. Scruff, Aroop Roy, and Zeeman with some incredible House music.
The second night, on July 17, will feature electronic music with Ross from Friends, Chubby T, and Ventura.
On the third night, July 31, Classic House DJ Derrick Carter, Sheri Vari, and Bumble will energise the crowd around the pool.
The final night, on August 14, will see Arthi, who DJs for the Sugababes, Katy B, danced in a Beyoncé video, and is also a technology correspondent for Sky News. Arthi will be joined by Shaka Lion and Marsha, to mash-up Dancehall, Hip hop, and more.
DJ Toby One, is a remarkable musician passionate about music who has been a driving force in Lagos, organising “bigger and better” events and attracting top-quality performers.
Toby shared that although there are limited dates, he tries to “do something that would appeal to everyone”.
With his experience in the musical industry, Toby has already organised festivals with performances by The Legendary Tigerman, The Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Cuban Brothers, and JFB.

The Duna Beach Sunsets will take place between July 3 and August 14, at the Lagos Duna Beach Club, overlooking Meia Praia and the sea.
The events are for music lovers aged 18 and over, and start at 6.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.
Tickets are free and go live on the website one week before the event.
Limited VIP tables will be available, with a cost of €500 per table and include four bottles of champagne, gin, or vodka, mixers, and a selection of sushi, oysters, and pregos.
