For anyone interested in moving to Portugal, the events are a good opportunity to have your most pressing questions answered by specialists in different areas

Mark your calendar! The Living in the Algarve free seminar events, are on their way to Lagos’ Vila Galé Hotel at Meia Praia on June 11.
The venue has been changed from the previously announced Cascade Wellness Resort.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this change of venue may cause you and look forward to welcoming you there on the day,” stated Bruce Hawker, CEO of Open Media Group, organisers of the Living in the Algarve seminar events and publishers of the Inside magazines.
From legal advice on buying property and living in Portugal to visa options for foreign nationals seeking resident status, and healthcare and health insurance options, the seminars cover a wide range of topics for everyone.
The event consists of two identical seminar sessions, one in the morning (11am) and one in the afternoon (3pm), before or after which attendees have the chance to speak with the event partners and ask questions, at the general meeting area, where there will also be a complementary area for coffee breaks and wine tastings.
The previous seminar took place on May 23 in Tavira and was the first in the area for Open Media Group, hailed a success by both organisers and event partners, with numbers surpassing expectations and huge interest from attendees in making the move to Portugal.
Each event offers visitors an exclusive opportunity to ask as many questions as possible to several experts working in different fields, offering advice and helpful information on questions such as: how Portuguese taxation can effect you as a foreign resident, information about residency (especially for UK and other non-EU nationals), updates on the Non-Habitual Residency scheme, practical information about living in the Algarve, and much more.
To answer all your questions, the following partners and speakers will be attending the seminar:
Reserva da Luz (Real Estate Developers) – Gerry Fagan
Global International Relocations (Real Estate Developers) – Luís Duarte
AFPOP (Foreign residents association) – Michael Reeve
Medal (Insurance) – Henrique Pinheiro
