A six-course gourmet menu will bring Austrian and Portuguese flavours together
– September 30, 2024
On October 2, a unique culinary event will be held at NUMA restaurant in Portimão, which was listed among Michelin’s recommended restaurants this year.
‘Austria meets Portugal’ will unite four distinguished chefs, who have created a six-course gourmet menu that will showcase the flavours of Austria and the rich culinary traditions of Portugal.
Guests will get to experience a true cultural fusion by two Portuguese chefs, Nuno Martins, owner and head chef at NUMA (Portimão), and João Mourato, chef at Quinta do Quetzal (in Vidigueira); and two Austrian chefs, Andreas Zika, head chef at Kliemstein in Linz, and Michael A. Müller, the owner of Kliemstein.
Every course will be paired with a selection of both Portuguese labels from Quinta do Quetzal in the Alentejo, as well as wines from Vinovitis – Kliemstein Weinedition, from Austria, in a celebration of the friendship between Austria and Portugal, with part of the event’s proceeds to be donated to a social project in the Algarve.
Seats are limited. Reservations can be made by [email protected] or +351 282 432 454, starting at 7 pm, from Monday to Saturday.
